minimalism
my brand is closely aligned to the clean elements of minimalist design. it accurately reflects my work ethic and process which is very simple and straightforward. i have always been someone that prefers a few select standout components that draw the eye than a clutter of different elements.
muted colours
i have always been drawn to muted colours which look both trendy and classic, welcoming and professional. as someone who has always liked the asian and Korean aesthetic of minimalism and simple muted aesthetics in clothing and products, this interest is transferred to my brand.
mix of serif and sans serif
as seen in my personal brand logo, i use abril fatface as my primary font while i use sans serif fonts for body text. i like the mix of different typography because it adds visual interest.
nature
my favourite type of photography would have to be nature/street photography. i absolutely love capturing fleeting moments that occur around us. my love for nature can be seen in my logo which features a daisy. the daisy is a flower that symbolizes growth, discovery and new beginnings: all things my brand represents.
